Co-Curricular Activities
Beneavin College has a wide variety of extra curricular activities which play an important role in the life of the College. Activities include:
Games
Gaelic Football, Hurling, Soccer, Athletics, Table Tennis, Boxing, Tag Rugby, Badminton and Basketball. Our teams have achieved many successes down through the years.
The College has a modern Sports Hall and a fully equipped Gymnasium.

The Arts
Music, Art and Drama are well represented. Beneavin College has a varied association with the Arts highlighted with the Annual Music Shows, which are produced and directed by the Former Deputy Principal, Derek O’Donoghue. Derek is widely experienced in this field having achieved a number of successes with Tops of the Town Competition.
Tours
Beneavin College has organised many tours both local and international over the decades. Tours have included visits to the GAA Museum, Collins Barracks, DSPCA in Rathfarnham and France, Spain, Germany, Holland and Sweden on the international front.
Fundraising
Beneavin has a long and proud tradition of fundraising for deserving causes. Hamper funding for The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, collections for the Wheelchair Association of Ireland and coffee mornings for Hospice Association are the main areas. Other projects include the Paraguay School Project, Crumlin Hospital for Sick Children, Goal, the Marie Keating Foundation, the DSPCA and the ISPCA.

Student Exchange
For a number of years student exchange visits with our sister De La Salle School in Nantes, France have been arranged.
The Clubs
The facilities of Beneavin College are availed of by many local organisations and clubs including Erins Isle GAA Club, The Willows Football Club, Tolka Rovers Basketball Club, St John’s Ambulance Brigade and the Finglas Concert and Marching Band.
