Red Weather Warning Alert: School Closure Fri 24th

The School has just received advice from the Department that due to the Red Warning given for the Storm approaching, schools are to remain closed tomorrow, Friday 24th. We were given advice that even though the warning is scheduled to end at 11am in Dublin that due to safety checks that would need to take place and obvious transport issues with public transport closing and possible road closures that we are to remain closed for the entire day.

This is not something we do lightly and we appreciate it can be difficult to manage childcare arrangements whilst people are still working remotely but safety issues are always of our most paramount concern.

I hope everyone takes care during the course of storm and stays safe. We hope to see you all Monday morning and hope you have a lovely weekend and there is no major damage to your property.

As always now is a time to look after one another in the community if you have vulnerable neighbours/ family members please ensure they are well prepared.

Stay safe.
