This year 40 pupils and five teachers travelled to Italy during the Easter Holidays. The group flew to Venice where we experienced life on water and also the art of glass making. After a full day of sightseeing and a good nights rest (!) we travelled to Verona, with it’s magnificent amphitheatre, tasty restaurants and of course we stepped into the world of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. We then travelled to the beautiful Lake Garda with it'[s stunning views. No school tour would be complete without a trip to a theme park – and Gardaland did not disappoint. The sun was shining and the queues were minimal – what more could one ask for?! On our final day in Italy, we visited the San Siro stadium – home to AC Milan and InterMilan, and then it was time to hit the shops!
Italy was a wonderful school tour which catered for all interests.
Keep an ear to the ground for details of next years tour…don’t miss out!
