SCHOOL TOUR 2014

2014 will be a first for Beneavin! Over St Patricks Day Weekend – we hope to go on a Ski-Trip. This is very exciting as the school has never done a Ski Trip before. We will be based in Lavarone – Northern Italy (about 3.5hrs north of Milan) for four nights. This tour is open to ALL pupils  – another first for the school! – and it will no doubt be an unforgettable experience for all! Places on this trip are strictly limited so make sure you get in early!
The cost of this tour is €650 –  which includes, flights,
accomodation, breakfast, dinner, ski hire, lessons,  ski slope passes and a day trip to either Milan or Verona.
Deposits of €150 for this trip are currently being accepted and should be paid to Ms Dempsey.

Trip to Rhineland in Germany
For those pupils who want to get away – but aren’t feeling as adventurous – we have something for you too! We are happy to announce that we will also be running an Easter Weekend trip to Rhineland in Germany. This tour is open to Junior Pupils only and the total cost is €440. This price includes Flights, Two nights accomodation, breakfast and dinner, entry to the Lindt Chocolate Museum and entry to Phantasialand theme park as well as lots lots more! Interest on this tour is growing so it’s important to get your deposit in ASAP. Deposit for Germany tour is €140.

School Tour 2013 Paris / Barcelona

Upon arrival in Barcelona, we make our way into the city and visit an interactive science museum – then on to Camp Nou for a tour of the stadium. After our tour we go Ice Skating. All pupils must bring a pair of gloves – otherwise they will be charged €3 to rent a pair!

On Saturday we return to the city for a full day sightseeing tour followed by an afternoon of shopping. After dinner in the hotel, we will go bowling in a local amusement centre. Early rise on Sunday morning – after breakfast we make our way to the airport and we fly to Paris.
After lunch in Paris, we climb the 284 steps of the Arc de Triomph, following this we go on a bus tour of Paris. After dinner we take a boat trip down the river Seine before going to our hotel for a well deserved rest!
Monday  – Day out at Disneyland Paris (need I say any more?!) Dinner in Planet Hollywood and then a visit to the Eiffel Tower!
Tuesday – pack our bags and check out of the hotel – we take a self guided tour of Musee d’Orsay followed by a visit to a choclate museum! We’ll finish our trip with some shopping and then it’s off to the airport to board our flight home!
We arrive back to Dublin on Tuesday 12th February at 22.10pm. (Terminal 2)

Past Tours

Beneavin College has organised many tours both local and international over the decades. Tours have included visits to the GAA Museum, Collins Barracks, DSPCA in Rathfarnham and France, Spain, Germany, Holland and Sweden on the international front.
