School Unable to Open On Monday

It appears that the College will be unable to open  on Monday 7th next until further notice. We just reviewed this communication about Monday….

Unfortunately, while it is expected that talks between the Department of Skills and the ASTI will continue over the weekend, there is no indication at this stage other than that the planned withdrawal of ASTI members from Supervision and Substitution duties will proceed. In these circumstances, and regrettably, we envisage that the vast majority of schools in our sector will not be in a position to re-open school premises, given health, safety and welfare concerns, after the mid- term break on Monday, November 7th.
